While strolling back to work from your lunch break, thinking about the afternoon schedule, you stop and look around. Then you notice that many of the other women walking down the street are carrying the same handbag you are.
This can give you a self conscience feeling that you are just one of the many instead of the confident feeling of thinking for yourself and being your own person. It is almost like going to a party and every one is wearing the same dress you are, even worse, they look better in it than you do.

A handbag is like shoes or any other accessory; you would like it to make a statement about yourself. Whether it is a playful mood or a more sophisticated night out, you would like your handbag to reflect that feeling.
There are many reasons to choose a bag; one is to follow the latest fashion trend. This can be fun if you have the resources and shops to keep up with it. But eventually, you will wind up with a pile of outdated handbags you can no longer use. Other reasons are to follow the fashion of an admired celebrity, or an admired designer. But these can also leave you feeling cold and unsatisfied.
Finding Your Perfect Bag
There is the perfect bag out there for you. It may take time to find it, but it should be functional as well as fashionable. With the right bag that says “look at me” it can make a statement about the owner that words can not. It is a look and feeling that all women know when they have a well put together ensemble. That perfect unique bag for you is out there waiting for you and the hunt is on.
The first thing you need to do is to decide on material. Whether you like fabric, leather, or even macrame, knowing what type of material can help narrow the search. The next question is size. The question of size can be difficult, small handbags are very cute, but will they hold everything you need?
You can answer these questions with the adage “form follows function” find the bag you like then make it work. There is also the question of style, do you follow the new styles or do you choose something more classic so the look will last for some time.
Discussing these issues with a salesperson can help you find the perfect unique bag you have been searching for. But don’t forget about the odd places to find a unique handbag, vintage clothing stores or craft fairs can be fun places to find the bag that says this is me.
